Who We Are

Neighbourhood Farm is a small-scale bio-intensive market garden based in Oxley, Brisbane. Using the best organic and regenerative farming practices we produce a wide range of fresh vegetables and herbs which are sold directly to the local community through our roadside shop, along with several local cafes and restaurants around Brisbane.

Our Mission

Grow

Neighbourhood farm has grown out of interest in creating a vibrant and productive market garden on the doorsteps of our local community. Our vision has always been to use the best farming practices to grow vital and nutrient dense foods, harvested freshly and provided directly. The farm reconnects people to agriculture in an urban setting and provides a fertile space for new ideas to grow.

Connect

We strive to connect people and the community directly by cultivating relationships through our farm gate stall, volunteer days, workshops and community events. We hope to create connections between our community and the landscape, encouraging the importance of sustainable living.

Regenerate

Regenerative - able to or tending to regenerate—to regrow or be renewed or restored, especially after being damaged or lost.

Neighbourhood farm is designed as an interactive hub for learning regenerative skills and models of sustainable design. Our natural farming practices aim to regenerate the soil as well as the local environment and community. Our larger impact aims to regenerate urban areas and lifestyles, demonstrating positive alternatives.
