Microgreens are a great way to increase your daily greens intake. They have a much higher vitamin, mineral and enzyme content than there mature counterparts. No matter how small your space, there are many varieties that are relatively simple to grow once you know how, bringing a significant quantity of nutritious greenery into your home.

In this on farm workshop you will learn and participate in all the steps involved in planting, growing and harvesting microgreens.

What you’ll receive

  • Information pack: Detailed workshop notes on growing microgreens

  • Samples: We’ll have a variety of microgreens for you to taste to see what you may like to grow yourself.

  • Microgreen Kit: Microgreen Kit: You’ll take home your very own kit so you can immediately start producing microgreens. This kit will contain a set of growing trays as well as enough soil mix and seed to get started growing (sunflower, pea and radish seed).

What to Bring

  • Paper and a pen to make your own notes

  • Closed in shoes, sun protection and a water bottle

Suitable for

  • Anyone with an interest in growing food from their own home.
